Episode 603 - The Mandoverse and Helping the Cause

During the month of November, The Halo Halo Podacast will focus full episodes on the Star Wars Universe much to the delight of our co-host Jezzie. First, our co-hosts play pop culture catch up on Sigi’s binge on Britney’s memoir; Jezzie’s delving into the Halloween franchise and remembering and honoring Matthew Perry. Next, Jezzie virtually grabs Sigi’s hand and leads him into the Mandoverse recapping the Mandoverse trifecta of "The Mandalorian"; "Book of Boba Fett" and "Ahsoka". Sigi enters the Mandoverse and shares his thoughts on "Ahsoka" much to Jezzie’s delight. Further, the Jezzie  highlights that in some ways, these series have been messaging the idea that we still need to help the cause as the rebellion becomes the new way of life in the galaxy. Jezzie goes on to discuss on how we can help the cause for the Filipino Communities in the Diaspora can mean many things. He touches on sharing equity and generational wealth; keeping the door open and mentorship. He leaves us with the cultural fixing of asking ourselves how we can help the next generation.
