Episode 604 - Early Empire Era and a Call to Action

As The Halo Halo Podcast continues with the Star Wars universe theme for November, they focus on the early empire in occurring between Episode 3 and Episode 4 of the Star Wars saga. First on their pop culture catch up they touch on the situation in the Middle East, end of the SAG-Aftra strike, Just Jack and Will podcast and Season 2 of "Wheel of Time."

Jezzie then discusses the Disney+ series, "Bad Batch", "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and "Andor" and how they depict the rise of the Empire Era where it was a time of darkness for the Jedis and Imperial Era. Sigi and Jezzie both fawn over the cinematic feel of Obi-Wan Kenobi and the strong cast including the character Tala Durith and the young Leia Organa.

Jezzie ties in that the three series share the theme of a call to action and the reluctance of a hero responding to that call. Further, Jezzie describes instances where we may be reluctant to a call to action and discusses why we may have those feelings of reluctance. He encourages us to challenge those feelings and be aware that we are all collectively in this together and the importance of helping others may serve as motivation.
